One week to go!

As written before, I have been quite busy with my activities around EIFFEL. Beginning of this month, we published a second whitepaper that outlined, in some plain English, how we intend to implement the first of the two recommendations that the EIFFEL think tank made in its original whitepaper, namely the establishment of a so-called support action for the FP7 call 1. Please do download the second whitepaper and inform yourself as to what the plans and intentions are.

Since then, work has progressed towards an actual SSA (strategic support action) submission, based on the abovementioned whitepaper. Things got blown up, as usual in EU submissions, but the essence remained the same, elaborated and clarified in some parts, e.g., when it comes to interaction with vital stakeholders in the process of the future EIFFEL SSA work.

All in all, it is an exciting undertaking. One more week to go which we will use in the core team to finalize and polish the submission.
